东北老工业基地复兴的新型城市化道路

党的“十六大”提出振兴东北地区等老工业基地,而新型城市化道路是重要的实现途径。东北地区城市化的起点较高,但是80年代后期城市化进程却出现了“新东北”现象,对此要从整体上考虑城市化道路的发展,要走可持续发展的城市化道路,要加快资源型城市经济转型,要加快大城市老工业区改造,要加快大都市圈产业集聚与空间重组,要加快城市信息化建设,要加快城市生态环境整治与人居环境建设,把东北老工业基地建设成经济繁荣、社会文化事业发达、人居环境优美、城市职能明确、空间布局合理、大中小城市协调发展的现代化的人居环境系统。
