氧化聚西夫碱/硅油电流变体系的制备及性能

SYNTHESIS AND ELECTRORHEOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF OXIDIZED POLYMERIC SCHIFF′S BASE SUSPENSION

摘要 合成了具有平面共轭体系的聚西夫碱和端基氧化聚西夫碱,对其物理性能和化学结构进行了表征。将它们分别分散于硅油中制成电流变体,并研究其电流变性能,发现链结构的不同使其电流变行为差别很大,其中由端基氧化聚西夫碱制成的电流变体的电流变效应更为显著。 A kind of polymeric Schiff's base with and without oxidized end groups was designed and synthesized. Their chemical structures and other physical properties, such as conductivity, shape and size of the polymer particles, were examined. Electrorheological fluids were then prepared by dispersing the two kinds of polymer in silicone oil respectively and their rheological properties under electric field were investigated. The results show that the difference of their chain structures leads to different electrorheological effect. It is notable that the electrorheological behavior of oxidized polymeric Schiff's base suspension is outstanding.
