摘要
首届广州当代艺术三年展,是2003年轰动中国艺术界的一桩“盛事”。但据悉对此次大展争议颇多,而且有些重要媒体因涉及是国家形式美术馆举办而讳言评论。我认为坚持中国先进文化方向不是一句空话,无论展览目标、组织形式、作品的选择、舆论的导向等等都要从“先进”与否加以评价。本文对此次大展中过于“重视”后现代主义艺术的作法谈几点意见。
The First Guangzhou Modern Arts Three-year Display was a grand occasion to China Arts field in 2003, but there were a lot of disputes about it, and some important news media dared not or would not speak up commenting on it for involving with the running by the State Art Gallery. I think holding Chinese advanced cultural direction is not an empty word, and commenting it we should keep the 'advanced' or not standard to judge its display target, organization form, works selection and the direction of public opinions. This paper talks a few points on this great display which was paid too much attention to the post modernist arts.
