对于任何学英语的人而言,最重要的是掌握动词的用法。《牛津现代高级英汉双解辞典》列举了谓语动词的25种用法类型,足见谓语动词的重要性。对英语中一些特殊动词带同源宾语的情况进行语义结构分析,一则有利教学,二则使我们在跨文化交际中障碍更少。

For anyone who is learning English as a foreign language, the most important thing is to master the usages of different verbs. There are twenty-five verb patterns listed in the 'Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary of Current English with Chinese Translation', from which we can see how really important the English verbs are. In my thesis, the semantic structure of some special verbs and their 'auto-objects' are concerned in order that more insights can be gained into the analysis of English syntax and hindrances on the way of inter-cultural exchange and corporation can be cleaned away as many as possible.
