采用新的流调度策略的视频点播系统研究

摘要 客户多播补块流调度策略——CMP(ClientMulticast Patching)——是基于代理缓存的有效的视频点播策略它采用用户参与流调度,的方式某些用户在播放节目的同时又作为服务器为后续用户多播一部分节目因此在不增加用户I/O带宽的前提下通过利用局域网络丰富的带宽有效地节省了服务器及主干网络的资源,并对用户请求提供即时服务,该文给出CMP方案的实现算法,并对系统进行仿真及性能分析结果 ,表明了CMP方案的有效性和可行性. This paper proposes a video scheduled scheme called CMP(Client Multicast Patching) for proxy-assisted distributed VOD. When an appointed client plays out a video, it is also acting as a server transmitting the partial video segments via multicast for latter requests in local network, therefore regional abundant network bandwidth is utilized instead of an remote server and backbone network bandwidth. Implementation pseudocode using CMP stream-scheduled strategy was given. System simulation and performance analysis show that significant network resource can be saved with the CMP scheme.
