The design of the comprehensive teaching administration system is a complex systematic project.To have a smooth completion of the system, UML is applied to modeling this system. This paper displays how to use UML for the requirements analysis and pattern design in the development of the teaching administration system. Visual models promote the communication between the designers and users, and guarantees the development of the system going on smoothly.
