略谈电视连续剧《日出》的改编

On adaptation of《The Sun rise》

曹禺的《日出》是蜚声剧坛的名著,用电视艺术手法对这部名著作了较好的改编,延伸和充实,但主要人物的思想性格、剧情、主题思想,仍然是忠实于原著的,而五更丰富了原著的戏剧性,增强了观赏性。不足之处是写陈白露又增添了干妈这个人物,削弱了原著人物的思想性格,写李石清增添了不必要的情节,但总的来看,仍是忠实原著的成功之作,为改编名著提供了有益经验。

The Sunrise by Chaoyu enjoys a high reputation in theatrical circles. In the TV serial beased on it, adaptation,prolongation and reinforcement are made.But at the same time, the characteristics,the plots and the theme of the TV serial are still basically faithful to the original. Furthermore, the TV serial enrich the plos and the entenalning effect of the original work, The room for improvement lies in that, bcreating the character - the nominally adapted mother,characeristics of main characters are weakened,similarly, many unnecessary plots are added by he crQtion of the character- Li shiqing. Generally speaking,howerer,the TV serial can still be caled as a succesful one which is faithtul to the original work, making useful contribution to the practice of adapting clas-sicd works.
