This paper discusses the method and technical flow of testing the preprocessing positioning accuracy and geographic position displacement of scene center of CBERS-1 02 image. The test data are evaluated using this method. The result shows that the computed errors of the positioning accuracy and displacement of scene center can be explained to a great extent and this explanation can be used to improve the quality of .CBERS-1 02 image.
