Along with the speeding up of the tempo of the government's and en te rprise's informatization, the application of different computer-based networks is popularizing day by day, and how to build and perfect the necessary and relia ble network monitoring and managing system in different computer-based networks has become the first link and key technique for the development of different co mputer-based networks. Based on the demand analysis of the government's and ent erprise's network monitoring and managing system, this paper briefly introduces the trends of the application and development of the network monitoring and mana ging technique.
