Education modernization not only gives prominence to the educational function of the university library, but also provides broad space for the full play of the educational function of the university library. In the process of education modernization, the university library should play an important role in the information literacy education, provide special services for life-long learning, actively participate in innovating teaching method, motivate the application of new techniques for teaching and be evolved to a modern distance education centre.
