Human Resources Development in Higher Medical Educaiton:Its Defining

改革开放以来,我国的医学人才开发取得了长足的进步。但与经济社会文化的高速增长和国民对医疗服务的扩展,仍有不小的距离。主要表现为:医学人才总量严重不足;地区分布极不均衡;针对性滞后于社会需求。必须深化高等医学教育体制改革,将我国高等医学的教育目标定位于高素质与多层次的统一;教育过程定位于建设继续教育、终身教育基地;教育市场需求定位于坚持“职业教育”、“精英教育”理念。

Since reform and opening-up,great progress has been made in the development of medical human resources in China.However,the development of human resources is still incompatible with the rapid growth of our country's economy,culture and society.With regard to the problems existing in human resources development,we need to deepen the reform of the higher medical education system.The defining of higher medical education in human resources development should be:(1)being aimed at integrating top quality with different levels;(2)becoming the base of continuing education and life-long education;and (3)sticking to the concepts of “vocational education”and “flower education”.
