New mode, new requirements, new development—Study of the teaching mode section of College English Curriculum Requirements

教育部新世纪教改工程之一的大学英语教学改革已进入实施阶段。作为教学改革指导性的文件《大学英语课程教学要求(试行)》也已正式出版发行。该文件明确把教学模式的改革作为此次改革的重点，并在文件中辟专节阐述。本文通过作者对该部分逐段学习与分析，旨在掌握文件的精华与脉络及其细节，与广大英语教师共享，并把本校大学教学改革中教学模式的改革落到实处。

College English Teaching Reform, one of the New-century Educational Reforms launched by Ministry of Education, has stepped into the stage of implementation. The guiding document College English Curriculum Requirements (CECR) has also been published. The reform of the teaching mode has been indicated as the key reform in CECR with a separate section. This paper presents an amplified study and analysis of this section with the aim at well comprehending its soul, thought and details to share with all English teachers across the nation for a better practice of the teaching-mode reform.
