中印经济改革进程中人口问题的比较研究

Population Problems and Economic Reform in China and India: A Comparative Study

中国和印度是世界第一、二位的人口大国,中印两国都在进行经济改革以期实现经济的现化化。本文拟从人口经济学的角度系统地分析和比较中印经济改革进程中的人口因素之作用以及由此而产生的问题,同时还扼要比较两国的有关对策与措施。笔者希望通过这一研究为解决经济改革中的人口问题提供理论参考。

The following points are discussed in this paper: 1.the background and precondition of the reforms;2.the effects of population growth on the rate of capital accumulation and economic growth;3.surplus of labour as a result of population growth; 4.the effects of age structure in population and of labour participation rate on economic development; 5.the quality of population as the key to the success or otherwise of the reforms; and 6.the measures taken to tackle the problems.
