An Interpretation of “Xuantong"

本文从德文对玄同翻译为“隐秘的共同性”出发,解释玄同所包含的语言学和伦理学的含义,并试图展示它对人类存在具有的重要性,及不同文化的理解与会通的可能。

Thinking highly of “Xuantong' put forward by Laozi, the author interprets its implications from several angles in order to reveal its significance to human existence and the possibility of human communication and understanding. Because this paper was originally written in German with its own interpretation, some German philosophical expressions were used with some quotations from several German translations of 'Daodejing'. This Chinese version has maintained the original form with a view to helping Chinese readers understand the author's ideas better.
