New Observation of the New Semantic Items of Words

新时期,随着社会文化和经济的发展,新事物、新观念不断地涌现,人们的话语表达在指称这些事物时,产生了一系列的"旧词新喻"的现象。人们在隐喻性思维的导引下,使原有词语的语义泛化,通过人们频繁地使用,其隐喻意义就沉淀为词的比喻义,从而成为词语的固定义项。

With the development of social culture and economy, new things and concepts make its continuous appearances, which leads to the increased semantic items in the old words. The metaphoricalized thought leads to the semantic generalization of the old words. The repeated use of the meaning brings about the metaphorical meaning and thus becomes the fixed meaning items of the old words.
