Application of Highly Chorined Polyethylene Coating in Petrochemical Units

高氯化聚乙烯涂料是近年来出现的一种新型产品。该涂料以高氯化聚乙烯 (HCPE)树脂及氯化石蜡等为主要成膜物 ,添加耐蚀颜填料组成单组分涂料。其分子中氯含量达 6 0 %～ 70 % ,不含双键 ,氯原子呈无规则分布 ,具有优秀的耐酸、碱、盐等腐蚀介质的性能。与传统的氯磺化聚乙烯等产品进行了比较 ;并介绍了在石油化工企业的钢结构架、储油罐外壁、输油管线外壁及硫酸生产厂房等部位的应用情况 ,其使用寿命接近 5年。

Highly chlorined polyethylene coating is a new product developed in recent years. It is manufactured from HCPE and chorined wax as the major membrane-forming material added with corrosion-resistant color material. The coating contains 60%～70% chlorine without double bond, and chlorine atoms are irregularly distributed. Therefore, it has an excellent performance resisting to corrosion of acids, caustics and salts as compared with conventional chlorined sulfonated polyethylene products. Its application on steel structures, external wall of oil tanks and oil pipelines and buildings for sulfuric acid production is introduced. The service life is about five years.
