This essay is a reply of an article “How to Build up a Basic Theoretical System of Chinese Music”. Besides, theauthor points out the significance and necessity of perfecting academy standards and developing academic criticism andvoices his opinions that blind worship and flattery will lead to bad academic atmosphere.
