摘要
风蚀预报系统是美国农业部组织多学科科学家开发的、目前最完整、手段最先进的土壤风蚀预报模型,成为风蚀定量评价、指导风蚀防治实践以及环境规划与评价的重要技术工具。对风蚀预报系统的设计、结构、模拟过程及模拟技术等做了简要介绍。
The Wind Erosion Prediction System (WEPS) is a process-based, continuous,daily time-step model developed by an ARS-led,national,multidisciplinary team of scientists organized by the United States Department of Agriculture, which can simulate weather, field conditions, and soil erosion by wind. WEPS is currently the most advanced, complete and widely used technical tool for assessment and control of wind erosion, as well as environmental planning and assessment. The structure, design, simulating processes and modeling techniques of the WEPS model are presented.
