s:Feng cun was an active local writer in Henan Province in 1940's.He conscionsly joined the literary ranks,described the war of resistance against Japan and the heroes,paid great attention to displaying the spiritual weak points of peasants and intellectuals showing strong social sense of responsibility.As far as creative style is concerned,he combined the traditional talking and singing with modern narration.which embodied the striking style of the broad masses of the people.
