摘要
"归化"和"异化"的问题是一个文化翻译的重要问题。文章通过具体翻译例证,认为由于中医言语深蕴东方哲学思想,因此在可能的情况下,应尽量采用"异化"的原则和译法,以最大限度地保留中华医学的精髓和东方哲学的要旨。
Foreignization or domestication is concerned wi th cultural translation. This paper attempts to approach this issue based on the concrete cases in translation of Chinese Medical Terminology and suggests that when possible, foreignization should be adopted as top priority in order to full y retain the essence of Chinese Medicine and pith of oriental philosophy as well .
