The global DSC market in 2004 is expected to hit 55.19 billion units, advance 27 percent growth. Sales volume of DSC willincrease by an estimated 11.5% CAGR from 2003 to 2007, may reach 80 billion units in 2007. Recently,the number of makersare stepping up their efforts to develop DSC with 300 million or higher pixels. Targeting the high end market, the makers focuson adding more features to DSC.12
