摘要
随着无线通信的日益发展,不需要任何基础设施或集中管理的移动Ad hoc网络正逐渐从军用扩大到民用等诸多领域,如无线办公LAN,家庭设备网络,传感器网络等。灵活方便的无线通信一般由电池供电,但是电池技术的缓慢进步使得电池功率成为移动Ad hoc网络中一种受约束的资源,功率控制问题是一个重要的研究课题。移动Ad hoc网络中功率控制大致可分为三类:传输功率控制、功率路由和低功率模式,本文对此作了总结、阐述。重点是从分层的角度对传输功率控制进行阐述,同时分析了功率控制问题中尚未解决的问题,为进一步的研究提出了新的课题和思路。
With the development of wireless communications,mobile ad hoe networks without any established infrastructure or centralized administration are spreading from military areas to lots of civilian areas, for example wireless office local area networks,home device networks,sensor networks and so on. With the nature of flexibility and convenience,wireless communications are supported by batteries,but battery technology is not likely to progress as fast as computing. Hence,battery power becomes a constrained resource. It is easy to know power control is an important issue. Power control can be categorized as follows: transmission power control ,power aware routing, and low power mode. First,with emphasis,this paper compares the similarities and differences of some typical algorithms of different layers about transmission power control. Moreover,it analyzes some unsolved problems that are believed to be of great interest.
