粘虫成虫求偶行为观察

Observation on the Courship Behaviour of Walker(mythimna separata)at Adult Stage

本文首次描述了粘虫雌雄蛾的求偶行为和交配过程,确定了雌蛾以产卵管伸出体外为求偶标准,雄蛾以抱握器张,尾毛竖起成球状为求偶标准。实验结果表明,同一卵块内个体求偶前期有显著差异,不同卵块间粘虫求偶前期差异不显著。

This was the first report concerning the courship behaviour and mating process of walker. Extruding egg-valve out of body can be recorded at the kbeginning of the courship in the male side. While the expanding harpes,erecting the fur in the end of the abdomen was the sign of the beginnig of the courship in the female side. The time requiring betweem the emergence and courship for a female even in the same eggmass was quite different. However this difference was not detected between different eggmass.
