再谈口译教学及其改革

Retrospect on Oral Interpretation and Its Reform

口译课在我国是一门新兴的翻译课程。随着我国入世和北京申奥成功,社会用人单位对翻译尤其是口译人才的需求日益迫切。然而我国口译教学现状不容乐观。本文通过对我国口译教学现状的分析,结合口译教学的技巧和技能训练,提出了口译教学的改革思路。

The course of oral interpretation is a newly born one in China. With the successful applications for China's entry WTO and bid for Olympic Games, high quality professional interpreters are badly needed in Chinese current economy. However, the situation for the oral interpretation course is not satisfactory for the time being. In view of this, this paper tries to point out the deficiency on the course along with some skills and training methodology in interpretation. As a result, possible practical reform on the current interpretation course has been put forward accordingly.
