The Whole Information Reference Service in the Library

长期以来 ,人们认为信息咨询与文献开发是信息咨询部门的事情 ,而忽略了储存大量文献和网上资源 ,并负有信息传递职能的流通部、期刊部、技术部等部门的价值 ,这是我们工作的误区。图书馆各个部门的工作人员都必须具有担负信息咨询任务的观念 ,把管理水平的高低与图书馆整体信息咨询和整体文献资源的开发联系起来 ,走信息咨询与文献资源开发并举的道路 ,以信息咨询带动文献资源开发 。

It is thought that information and document exploitation are only the task of the reference department,but we ignore the value of the circulation department,the technical department and the periodical department which deposit and transfer great document and the internet sources . This is a mistake which exit in our mind. In a library,every librarian should have the sense and even the duty of information reference. When we improve the level of the library management, we should attach importance to the whole information reference and document exploitation. The information reference and document exploitation should develop together, use the information reference drive the document exploitation. Thus, we can make increment in usage of library collection.
