Study on Holocene New Tectonic Movement in Xuchang District

许昌地区的历史地震、水系特点及其变迁规律、地貌及地层特点,揭示了许昌地区全新世以来新构造运动强烈,空间上表现为西升东降为主,同时具有南北向的水平差异运动,上升的中心在许昌—灵井连线上,时间上表现为构造平静期和活跃期交替出现,汉代以来为构造运动活跃期。

After analyzing historic earthquakes,river distribution and its moving law,germophology and layer character of Xuchang area, facts are found that there are intensive new tectonic movements in Xuchang district,the ground is rising in the west but sinking in the east. Along Chencao to Xuchang line,the crust is moving at level in south and north direction.The rising center of the crust is on the line from Xuchang to Lingjing.
