Based on the relevant data and research works, occurrence of red tide in last several years in Liaoning province was briefly introduced. The causes and harms of red tide were discussed. According to the Liaoning's fact, suitable prevention suggestions were put forword to prevent occurrence of red tide disaster in Liaoning.
