摘要
随着中国加入WTO和对外开放的扩大 ,社会将给高职毕业生提供更多的涉外就业机会 ,因此对学生语言技能的训练和实际应用能力的培养就显得尤为重要 ,而英语课外活动正符合这一要求 ,弥补了课堂教学的不足 ,创设了以学生为中心的习得环境。论述了开展英语课外活动的益处 ,总结了出现的一些问题 。
English extracurricular activities meet the demand of English teaching, make up the deficiency of class teaching, create a student-oriented English learning environment. But there is still much to be improved in HVI English extracurricular activities. This article discusses the benefits of such activities, points out the main problems, explores the reasons and makes suggestions on how to solving them.
