摘要
强调词汇在外语学习中的重要地位,并指出在词汇学习方面认识上的几个误区,如英语词汇与对应的汉语解释、词汇、语法与语言水平以及词汇、词汇知识及词汇能力等。针对这些错误认识,提出了相应的转变策略,即课堂教学要以学生为中心,激发其积极性、主动性和创造性;利用构词知识、语境、预制语块等策略,使学生走出误区,提高词汇学习效率。
This paper stresses the importance of vocabulary in foreign language learning, and points out that there are misconceptions on the following aspects: English words and their corresponding Chinese equivalents; vocabulary, grammar and language proficiency; vocabulary, lexical knowledge and lexical competence. In view of these misunderstandings, this paper suggests relevant remedies: student-centered classroom instruction can help arouse enthusiasm, initiative and creativity; the use of such strategies as word formation, context and prefabricated chunks contributes to students' discard of the misconceptions and to higher vocabulary learning efficiency.
