隐喻不仅是一种语言现象,更是一种思维现象。本文从习语中动物名词的隐喻义出发,探讨它们在英汉语言中的同一性和差异性及其产生原因,以便掌握它们各自的隐喻观,更好的进行跨文化交流。
Metaphor is not just a linguistic phenomenon but also a thinking phenomenon. This paper, by analyzing the metaphorical meanings of the English and Chinese idioms with animal terms, explores the similarities and differences between the two languages and their causes so that their different metaphorical views can be mastered and cross - culture communication bettered.
