The progress of the gene transfer of livestock and poultry was reviewed.The content included progress of gene transfer mathods,integration of the transferred gene into chro- mosome,expression of the transferred gene,effect of the product of the transferred gene ,and future prospects in gene transfer of livestock and poultry.
