The Internationalization and Getting onto the International Path of Sci-tech Periodicals in Chinese Universities after China Entering WTO

长期以来 ,中国高校科技期刊的一部分就曾根据需要致力于国际化和与国际接轨 ,这都是正常的。中国入世之际 ,高校科技期刊与国际接轨和国际化有一哄而起和绝对化的倾向。其实这样也未必科学、合理。科技期刊应根据自己不同的层次类别和编辑方向 ,去选择自己的不同发展道路 ,不一定完全走国际化或与国际接轨的道路。同时 ,中国高校科技期刊在实施国际化或与国际接轨的时候 。

For a long period,some sci-tech periodicals in chinese universities have managed to be internationalized and get onto the international path in accordance with the demand.This is normal but during this period of china entering WTO there is a tendencey to do that absolutely and like a swarm of bees.In fact,this is not scientific and reasonable. Sci-tech periodical should choose its own way of development according to its levels,classifications and editorial directions.Internationali-zation or getting onto the international path is just one choice.At the same time,when it is internationalized,the national characteristics of chinese sci-tech periodicals should be maintained.
