Modern Explanation of Meaning beyond Words Theory

现代西方语言哲学的研究 ,实可溯源至古希腊哲学。不过 ,如果我们对中国古代哲学作一番考察 ,就可以发现 ,中国古代哲学中同样存在现代语言哲学的萌芽。本文正是从此点出发 ,考察了“言不尽意”论的现代哲学意义。并通过分析力图勾勒出其与现代语言哲学的共通之处及其不同特点。

The research of modern western linguistic philosophy can be traced back to ancient Greek philosophy. However, by analyzing ancient literature works, we can find that it also represented in ancient Chinese philosophy. This thesis inspects the modern philosophy theory of 'meaning beyond words' and tries to draw the outline of the similar and different characteristics with modern linguistic philosophy.
