Progress of theoretical research and application investigation on heat pipe technology was summarized. The application of heat pipe has converted from space to ground and from industry to human life. In refrigeration and air-conditioning area, heat pipe is used as heat exchanger. The application of heat pipe heat exchanger will accelerate the development of room air-conditioner, ground heat, solar energy, waste heat, furthermore, it is of great significance to the environment protection.
