教育基本规律与当前教育改革的几个问题

On the Principles of Education and Several Issues in the Current Educational Reform

教育要适应并促进人的全面发展 ;教育要适应并促进社会的全面发展 ,这是教育的两条基本规律。当前教育改革中出现了两个偏向 ,一是过分强调教育对社会全面发展的促进和适应 ,忽视了对人自身的发展规律的尊重 ;二是过分强调对人的发展的促进 ,忽视了对人的身心发展规律的适应。

Education is adapted to and aimed at the all-embracing development of an individual;it is also adapted and aimed at the all-round speedy development of a society,which form the two principles of education.Nowadays,there appear two deviations in the current educational reform;one is the overemphasis on the enhancement and adaptation education performs for the all -round social development with the result of overlooking the appropriate aspect of individual development rule;the other is the overemphasis of the enhancement of an individual development with the result of overlooking the adaptation to the development rule both physically and psychologically.The two problems lead to the harm-physically and psychologically--to the persons under the education.Those who are educated in this condition gradually begin to turn off the education.At the same time,the whole society is going to be misled to form a ommipotent notion of education.
