This dissertation deals with the structure and principles of formation and engineering of SMA, as well as those of the differences between SMA and the traditional asphalt mixture. It sums up how to carry out engineering of SMA from the proportion of production mixture to the practical use in the indoors experiment. It also emphasizes the related problems and their solutions so that it brings the maximum use of SMA into full play.
