Effects of Tilt Angle on the Performances of OADM Using Fiber Bragg Gratings

摘要 对带有光栅倾角的光纤Bragg光栅型OADM进行了理论研究。基于光栅倾角对光纤Bragg光栅反射特性的影响,分析了该器件的分光效率、同频串扰、邻道隔离度和附加损耗。数值结果表明:光栅倾角大于0.8°后,器件光学性能迅速劣化;光栅倾角将导致右端邻道隔离度和右端邻道信号附加损耗的急剧恶化。 A theoretical study on OADM using fiber Bragg grating with a tile angle was presented. Based on the effect of tilt angle on the reflection characteristic of fiber Bragg grating, the extraction efficiency, the coherent crosstalk, the adjacent isolation and the excess loss were analyzed. The numerical results show that the device's optical performance drops rapidly if the tilt angle is larger than 0.8° the tilt angle results in the deterioration of the right adjacent isolation and the excess loss of right adjacent sign.
