Cold Hardiness of Alfalfa and Sainfoin in the Cold Season

摘要 1984至1988年,研究了冷季苜蓿和红豆草抗冻性及体内某些营养物质变化。发现温度对牧草抗冻性发展有决定性的效应。秋季抗冻锻炼开始后,一定范围内,锻炼温度越低,抗冻性越强。可溶性糖、淀粉的含量与抗冻性有一定关系,但并不都是直接相关。抗冻锻炼期间可溶性蛋白增加量与抗冻性增强有关。从冬季一直延续到春季,红豆草均可能发生冻害,但腐烂和死亡则主要在春季才表现出来。 Changes of cold hardiness and some nutrient substances of alfalfa Medicago sativa L.), yellow alfalfa(M. falcata L.) and sainfoin(Onobrychis viciaefolia Scop.) were studied during cold seasons from 1984 to 1988. It is suggested that hardening temperaure have a decisive effect on the development of cold hardiness.After the hardening started in fall,the lower the hardening temperature was, the stronger the cold hardiness-within certain temperatures. Starch and soluble sugar contents had relations to cold hardiness but the relationships were indirect. During har daning period, the increasing of soluble protein and the increasing of cold hardiness was related. Freezing injury occurred from winter to spring, however, root rot and death was only observed in the following spring,
