By retaining and protecting for shallow foundation pit in watercourse soft soil subgrade of aquatic streets engineering in the Maritime Garden City tour Area in west Shenzhen, this paper introduce simply project choice, stability calculation of retaining wall, strength analysis of wall and distortion analysis. At the same time, a new way of retaining and protecting by which has gained preferable effect is concluded.
