MPLS是一种迅速发展的新的网络技术，VPN技术在服务领域也面临网络上流量爆炸性增长的困扰．MPLS和VPN的结合对于实际应用非常有价值．作者在传统MPLS BGP VPN的方案上提出一种二层PE实现MPLS BGP VPN的方案，既增加了MPLS BGP VPN网络的扩展性和灵活性，又使现有MPLS BGP VPN网络可以平滑升级．

The Multi-protocol Label Switching(MPLS)is a new network technology that is quickly growing up, while Virtual Private Network(VPN), the greatest service field, is facing the challenge caused by the explosive increase of traffic in the network. Therefore, the combination of MPLS and VPN(Virtual Private Network)is very valuable for practical purpose. We introduce a new method——Two-Layer PE MPLS BGP VPN in this paper, which can not only increase the adaptability and expansibility of the traditional MPLS BGP VPN, but also upgrade the traditional MPLS BGP VPN smoothly.
