辨证治疗多发性骨髓瘤21例临床观察

Observation of Therapeutic Effect in 21 Cases of Multiple Myeloma Treated by Pattern Identification

探索中医辨证治疗多发性骨髓瘤（MM）的疗效.对21例MM患者按病机分型为肝气郁热证、瘀毒内结证、气血两虚证、肝肾两亏证，分别予疏肝调血、清泄里热，化瘀泄浊、清热解毒，补益气血、调治脾肾、兼清瘀毒，滋肾养肝、清热解毒等法。部分病人辅以化疗或干扰素治疗。结果：部分缓解5例，进步14例，无效2例，总有效率为90.5％.平均生存期大于36.5个月，其中最长1例达72个月。提示中医辨证治疗MM，能减轻临床症状，促进病情缓解，延长生存时间，改善生活质量。

In order to explore the therapeutic effect of multiple myeloma(MM)treated by pattern identification in Chinese medicine, 21 cases of MM patients were divided hy pathogenesis into the patterns of qi stagnation and heat accumulation in the liver, of internal accumulation of stagnant toxin, of deficiency in qi and blood and of deficiency in the liver and kidney and treated respectively by the methods to soothe the liver, regulate blood and clear away internal heat, to disperse stagnation, expel turbidity, clear away heat and dissolve toxins, and to tonify qi and blood and regulate and treat the spleen and kidney for removing stagnant toxins, nourishing the kidney and liver and eliminating heat toxins, with some patients supplemented with chemotherapy or interferon. The results showed partial relief in 5 cases, improvement in 14 cases,failure in 2 cases, the total effective rate in 90. 5% and average survival duration in 36. 5 months, with the longest duration of 72 months in one case, indicating that TCM therapy by pattern identification for MM can relieve clinical symptoms , promote remission of the disease ,prolong the survival time and improve the life quality.
