摘要
介绍了两种射频振荡器的时变相位噪声模型:Demir&Mehrotra的非线性扰动模型和Hajimiri&Lee的时变相位噪声模型。对一个简单的非线性电导LC振荡器,分别建立了这两种模型,并指出了两种模型的联系和区别。讨论了两种模型的计算方法,介绍了在EDA软件HSpice和SpectreRF下,以及频域中相位噪声的计算问题。最后,进一步讨论了时变相位噪声,指出相位噪声分析的难点和未来的发展方向。
Two time-varying phase noise models for RF oscillators, Demir & Mehrotra's nonlinear perturbation model and Hajimiri & Lee's time-varying phase-noise model, are introduced. The two models are built respectively for a simple nonlinear-conductance LC oscillator, and the correlation of the two models and their differences are pointed out. Calculation techniques for the two models are discussed. Time-domain numerical methods for phase noise calculation by means of HSPICE and SpectreRF are presented, and frequency domain methods are also briefly reviewed. Finally, difficulties and open problems of phase noise analysis and its development trend are also discussed.
