Development of a Large Thin Section Nodular Iron Casting

介绍一种大型薄壁球铁件试制成功的经验。对铸件的工艺难点进行了分析,介绍铸造工艺方案,浇注系统设计,和铁 液熔炼、处理工艺。试制结果,防止了缩松、缩孔等铸造缺陷的产生;铸件质量达到要求。

The successful experience in trial production of a large thin section nodular iron casting was introduced. The process difficulties of the casting was analyzed. The foundry method scheme, gating system design, melting and treatment of the molten iron was described. As the result of trial production, the defects such as shrinkage, deformation and so on have been prevented, and the casting quality met technical requirements.
