西双版纳针蓟马亚科种类及一新种记述(缨翅目:蓟马科)

NOTES ON SOME PANCHAETOTHRIPINAE SPECIES FROM XISHUANGBANNA, WITH DESCRIPTION OF A NEW SPECIES (THRIPIDAE: THYSANOPTERA)

本文记述了云南省西双版纳缨翅目(Thysanoptera)针蓟马亚科(Panchaetothripinae)12种,其中发现1中国新记录Astrothrips strasseni Kudo,和1新种Rhipiphorothrips concoloratus Zhang etTong,模式标本存华南农业大学昆虫标本室.

This present paper deals with 12 species of Panchaetothripinae collected from Xishuangbanna of Yunnan Province. Among them, one species Astrothrips strasseni Kudo is recorded as new to China, and another one Rhipiphorothrips concolorotus is described as new to science. Type specimens and other specimens are deposited in the Insects Collection of South China Agricultural University. Rhipiphorothrips concolorotus sp. nov. (Figs. 1 - 7)This new species is closely related to R. cruentatus Hood and R. Pulchellus Morgan, but differs in antennal segments Ⅲ-Ⅳ each with a forked instead of simple sense cone; abdominal tergite Ⅳ of the male without a tooth-like process at posterolateral margin. This new species is also similar to R. africanus, but differs from the latter by body brown instead of bicolored, abdominal tergite I smooth, polygonal reticulation indistinct. Host plant: Hibiscus syriacus L.Holotype ♀ , Jinghong Co. , Yunnan Province, 1987-Ⅳ- 11, Coll.by Zhang Weiqui on Hibiscus syriacus L. Allolype ♂ .Paratypes 3♀♀ ,2♂♂ .Same data as holotype.
