802.1x,port_based network access control,a security standard protocol brought forward by IEEE in Jun,2001.This paper introduces the content of IEEE 802.1x,and discusses how to realize its function on wireless Lan switches access point.It is an emergency to supply our wireless switches with a safer authentication mechanism.
