摘要 JPEG LS是针对连续图像无损压缩的ISO/ITU标准,它是近年来JPEG对于图像无损压缩拟订的新标准。采用FPGA硬件实现该算法可以实时压缩各种大容量图片。介绍了JPEG LS中心算法LOCO I的基本编码原理,描述了其具体的编码流程。给出了基于可编程逻辑电路(FPGA)硬件实现图像无损压缩算法的设计与实现方法,该算法具有更高的压缩比。 JPEG-LS is an ISO/ITU standard for image lossless compression. It is a new standard from JPEG for image lossless compression in recent years. Hardware implementation of proposed solution on an FPGA allows for real-time processing of large image volumes. The basic theory of LOCO-I, which is the JPEG-LS's core algorithm, is introduced, and the encoding flow is described. The FPGA-based implementation of image lossless compression is presented.
