摘要
本文介绍了用Bézier曲面造型建立柴油机气缸盖进排气道外形数学模型的方法。内容包括:曲线和曲面的生成与拟合、曲面的拼接、过渡曲面和法向等距曲面的生成、求任意方向的剖面图和透视图、分模面和刀具中心轨迹的计算等。按此数学模型编制的气道CAD/CAM 软件系统成功地在数控铣床上加工出了气道模具。此方法对于复杂外形产品的几何设计与制造,具有一定的通用性和广泛的应用前景。
The paper presents a method to establish a mathematical model ofintake and exhaust port exterior by using Bézier surface theory ofcalculating geometry.This consists of fitting and creating Bézier curvesand surfaces,connecting Bézier surfaces and transition surfaces,calculatingnormal equidistant surfaces,any directional section,split surface andcentral locus of tools A software system of intake and exhaust port CADand CAM has been built and the flow box has been machined successfullyon NC machine.The method is versatile and promises well for designingand manufacturing complex exterior products.
