Advantages and disadvantages were discussed on installation of fireproof apparatus at the intake of oil tank. Except the pipeline about liquid inlet and output, atmospheric oil tank with fixed top always needs an intake, to avoid its broke-down due to pressure increase or vacuum when liquid transportation or environment condition were changed.
