摘要
建筑是临时的存在[2] ——这话不是出自一个搭建临时工棚的工人之口,而是出自一个热衷于从东方哲学、流行时尚和虚拟现实中寻找灵感的日本建筑家之口。通过“临时性”的演绎,伊东丰雄在文化的层面上颠覆了建筑固有的凝固性和恒定性,令表皮拥有了海市蜃楼般的虚幻性、令空间拥有了瞬息万变的高度灵活性,令建筑拥有了在矛盾中寻求共鸣的错综复杂的多重性。而“建筑的透层化”,则令表皮取代空间而成为建筑的主体,其背后的理念,交织着现代/后现代思潮、传统日本的浮世观、以及对消费时代和后都市的反思。
Ephemera' is one of the key characters of ToyoIto's architecture, which is sometime misinterpreted to besome sorts of 'low-cost temporary buildings'. As a matterof fact, Toyo Ito's 'ephemeral architecture' contains apattern of multiple pluralities weaving the multiple ver-sions of 'the World', e.g. Japanese traditional 'floatingworld', an ephemeral field for open text, as well as theelectronic virtual reality. Whilst creating a blurring andtransparent surface, Toyo Ito is seeking a subversivearchitecture, which is fictional and illusive, but no longereternal or frozen.
