In the hot field of current fire technology research, as high and new fire control technology in the aspect of flame retardant materials, the structure control and flame-retardant theory of flame retarded Polymer/Layered Silicate Nanocomp- osite is a fundamental problem which needs more focused research. This paper introduces current state of Polymer/Layered Silicate Nanocomposite study, analyzes the structure, characteristic and function of flame retardant, and combining with the application foreground of Polymer/Layered Silicate Nanocomposite, presents some useful advice about application study in the area of flame retardant.
